     Would be great if you could do key programming on the ultra, its an expensive but great piece of kit but have to spend even more to do key programming

    Key programming and THIS were removed to sell the IM608 for immobilizer and the 906BT for TPMS . This is just MY opinion on the issue. You need to have 2-3 Autel devices to have a comprehensive garage that does "everything"...
    ....then still have a laptop with Our software to do J2534 programming for everything that is NOT BMW, Mercedes (and partially VAG ).

     Since you already have a great diagnostic tool. On a budget You might want to consider an IM508 and an XP400. The XP400 Pro is newer and has more capability than the older XP400 though but the discontinued IM400 is included with this IM508 on this site at moment.A Totalcare update for an IM508 can usually be found for under $400 and enable you to scan the occasional SGM equipped FCA Chrysler Jeep vehicle after your update period is has expired on your MaxiSys Ultra.
